Our Tuition Policies
There are two payment plans available:
Plan 1: Semester. Pay tuition in two installments and save 5% over the monthly installment plan. Payments are due by September 10th for Fall semester and January 10th for Spring semester.
Plan 2: Monthly. Pay your tuition in monthly installments. Payments are installments toward your total tuition, regardless of how many classes are offered in any particular month. Payments are due the 10th of each month.
Dancers may take extra classes in a month at a charge of $13.00 per class (with prior permission from the teacher). Punch cards are available at $60.00 for 5 classes or $120.00 for 10 classes. Punch cards are good only through the semester in which they are purchased.
Family households with 2 or more students receive a 10% discount.
BAA must be notified in writing if a student is withdrawing from the studio. If written notice is not received, you will be responsible for payment of the entire semester. If withdrawing before the first class, a full refund will be made. In most cases, tuition is non-refundable after classes have started.
Students will not be allowed to participate in class if their tuition is more than 60 days late.
Missed classes may be made up during the same month in the level above or below the dancer's regular class. Prior permission from the teacher of the make up class must be obtained.
The year is divided into two semesters: September-December and January-May. Students may reduce the number of classes they are registered for at the semester break only.
Need-based financial aid is available in the form of work study. Completion of a confidential application and approval by the BAA Financial Aid Committee is required. Work study applications for Fall semester are due by September 1st; applications for Spring semester are due by January 1st.
- The Board reserves the right to cancel, within the first 4 weeks of the semester, any class with less than 5 students enrolled.
